What has changed on the site, with dates — so you always know how recent what you are reading is.
November 6, 2026 — Canva joins the Directory, news translated into Hindi and strengths / watch-outs extended (batch v2.36)
New profile: Canva — create professional visuals yourself (posts, presentations, posters) without complicated software. The Directory now holds 111 profiles.
Prices verified on the official canva.com page: free $0, Pro $18/month ($144/year), Business $25/person/month — the “price verified” note is in place.
Hindi news completed: the summaries on the “AI news” page are now translated into Hindi, like the headlines.
“Strengths / Points to watch” block extended to 5 more profiles: Opus Clip, Beehiiv, Cal.com, Pictory and HeyGen.
November 5, 2026 — The Directory now speaks Hindi: fifth language and prices in rupees
Hindi version live: the profiles, guides and comparisons are now available in Hindi (Devanagari script) — the Directory now has five languages: French, English, Spanish, Japanese and Hindi.
Indian rupee (₹): the Indian currency joins the homepages' currency selector, with automatic detection for Hindi visitors — prices show in ₹ on the Hindi homepage.
November 5, 2026 — Synthesia joins the Directory, prices re-checked and a strengths / watch-outs pilot (batch v2.35)
New profile: Synthesia — videos with an AI presenter, no camera or shoot (training, internal communications). The Directory now holds 110 profiles.
Prices re-checked on the official pages: Tidio (Lyro billed separately), Durable (Launch and Grow plans clarified) and HeyGen (Creator at $29/month) now carry the “price verified” note.
New “Strengths / Points to watch” block piloted on 5 profiles (Lindy, Leexi, NotebookLM, Metricool, Make): the essentials at a glance, before the guardrails.
November 1, 2026 — Coursebox: affiliate link live and prices re-checked (batch v2.34)
The Coursebox profile now carries our affiliate link: if the tool is right for you, sign up through the link on its profile — Le Répertoire des Agents may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you (the “affiliate link” tag flags it transparently).
Coursebox prices re-checked on the official page: free plan (3 mini-courses, unlimited learners, no card needed), Creator at $30/month or $25/month billed yearly — the profile and its FAQ now show these amounts, with the “price verified” note.
November 1, 2026 — vidIQ: affiliate link live and prices re-checked (batch v2.33)
The vidIQ profile now carries our affiliate link: if the tool is right for you, sign up through the link on its profile — Le Répertoire des Agents may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you (the “affiliate link” tag flags it transparently).
vidIQ prices re-checked on the official page: free plan (150 AI credits a month), Boost at $19/month or $199/year, Max at $49/month or $468/year — the profile and its FAQ now show these amounts, with the “price verified” note.
November 1, 2026 — a Make profile, and 109 tools in the Directory (batch v2.32)
Make joins the Directory: visual no-code automation (scenarios across 1,000+ apps, free plan with 1,000 credits a month) now has its full profile — pricing, setup and guardrails — in the Vibe coding & development category, next to n8n. The Directory now counts 109 profiles.
Our Make link gets you the Core plan free for 1 month (10,000 credits included): the 🎁 badge on the profile and in the “n8n vs Make” comparison shows it up front.
November 1, 2026 — the directory goes four-language (batch v2.31)
The site now exists in French, English, Spanish and Japanese: the FR · EN · ES · JA selector at the top of every page leads to the same page in the other language — home, 108 profiles, comparisons, guides and journeys: the full catalogue, translated.
New affiliate partnerships, with your perks shown up front: Cal.com, Make and Opus Clip join Metricool, Beehiiv and Predis. On the profiles concerned, a 🎁 badge shows what our link earns you: 20% off for 12 months at Cal.com, a 30-day free trial at Metricool with code LEREPERTOIRE, a 14-day trial plus 20% off for 3 months at Beehiiv, and Make’s Core plan free for 1 month (10,000 credits included).
November 1, 2026 — the site goes bilingual (batch v2.30)
The whole site now exists in English: the FR | EN button at the top of every page leads to the same page in the other language — home, 108 profiles, comparisons, guides, journeys: the full catalogue, translated.
Corrections: the LLM Council profile no longer says “open source” (the project has no license), Leexi is indeed a Belgian company, and two formatting leftovers were cleaned up on the Cal.com and Metricool profiles.
November 1, 2026 — technical details, a language button, and two alerts (batch v2.29)
Technical details on the 21 Technician profiles: installation, prerequisites, self-hosting, license, API/MCP, models, limits — read in the official documentation, with an “undocumented” note when the source does not settle the question. The section expands on its own in Technician mode.
FR | EN button: the 5 guides and our method now exist in English (pilot home page); the full catalog remains in French for now, and the button leads there honestly.
Two honesty alerts: Microsoft has archived AutoGen (successor: Microsoft Agent Framework) and Google has announced the shutdown of Jules at the end of 2026 — the profiles and comparison concerned now say so.
November 1, 2026 — local AI arrives, and prices are rechecked (batch v2.28)
New “Local AI” section: 6 new profiles (LM Studio, Jan, GPT4All, AnythingLLM, Msty, Pinokio) grouped with Ollama and OpenClaw on the page Local AI — an AI on your computer, plus a 6th guide, Install an AI on Your Computer. The Directory grows to 108 profiles — and the “Advanced Agents” chip returns in the General Public explorer: it now leads to real profiles there.
Prices rechecked on the official pages: Perplexity (the Max plan at $200/month was missing from the profile), ElevenLabs (the full price grid, up to $990/month), and refreshed badges for NotebookLM, Reclaim.ai, and Cal.com.
October 31, 2026 — the explanation moves above the profiles (batch v2.27)
A clarification from our founder: the explanation “they all do the same things, each with its own little advantage” should not stay hidden inside the in-depth profiles. When you filter Type: Multi-purpose, a banner above the profiles now says so right away, with a link to the generalist comparison.
October 31, 2026 — the generalists, compared on the same criteria (batch v2.26)
Our founder noticed it: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and the others all do the same things, but their profiles start from different problems — that is the site’s principle (each one’s most distinctive angle), but it still needed to be said. Two additions: every multi-purpose profile now displays a “Its own angle” section, and a new comparison, “Which generalist assistant should you choose?”, compares them on the same criteria — free plan, price, angle, country — with a verdict for each profile type.
October 31, 2026 — the country goes bold (batch v2.25)
A small readability adjustment, at our founder’s request: the publisher’s country is now displayed in bold on the cards and in the profiles, so you can spot it at a glance.
October 31, 2026 — every agent now has its country of origin (batch v2.24)
At our founder’s idea, every profile now indicates the publisher’s country: on the card, in the full profile, and on the agent’s page. A chance to discover that the Directory includes publishers from 17 countries — including Canada (Antidote, Hopper, Durable, Visualping) and France (Mistral, Pennylane, Dust, Weglot…), Belgium (Leexi), Armenia (Podcastle), and China (DeepSeek). Uncertain cases were checked against the publishers’ own sources before this batch was published.
October 31, 2026 — the big generalists arrive: 102 profiles (batch v2.23)
6 new multi-purpose profiles: Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, Meta AI, DeepSeek. These are the generalist assistants everyone knows — they were missing from the Directory, as our founder noticed when looking for Gemini and Grok in the Multi-purpose filter. The category now counts 12 multi-purpose profiles out of 102 profiles. Prices read on the official pages on October 31, 2026 for Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and Grok; Meta AI and DeepSeek are free, with no price badge — the DeepSeek profile carries an explicit guardrail about data hosted in China.
October 31, 2026 — we stop specifying “in French” (batch v2.22)
At our founder’s request, the home page no longer specifies that the site is in French — it is obvious. The mention disappears from the home card, from the “96” badge, and from the guides block. (Profiles that describe a tool that works in French do not change: that is information about the tool.)
October 31, 2026 — a single X to clear the search (batch v2.21)
Reported by our founder: when typing in the search bar, two Xs appeared for clearing — the browser’s and ours. The browser’s cross is now hidden; only one remains, ours.
October 31, 2026 — “Advanced Agents” leaves the General Public categories (batch v2.20)
In the General Public view, the “Advanced Agents” chip disappears from the Explore row: its 9 profiles are all technical, and it led to an empty page in this view. They remain accessible, of course, in the Technician view and through their direct links.
October 31, 2026 — the home card breathes a little more again (batch v2.19)
One more notch of spacing in the main card, at our founder’s request: the title, the text, and the two views have more air between them.
October 31, 2026 — the home card breathes a little more (batch v2.18)
At our founder’s request, the main card grows slightly: more space around the title, between the text, and between the two views — the page feels less cramped, without changing any content.
October 31, 2026 — a single front door: search (batch v2.17)
The big “Find your agent” button disappears from the home card: the search bar becomes the directory’s main entrance — describe your problem, and the matching profiles appear. The quiz has not disappeared: a discreet link under the search (“Not sure? Answer 4 questions, and we’ll recommend 3 agents”) still opens it, for those who prefer to be guided.
October 31, 2026 — choosing a mode no longer makes the page jump (batch v2.16)
At our founder’s request, clicking “I’m not a technician” or “I am a technician” no longer scrolls the page down to the profiles: the mode changes, it is remembered, and you stay exactly where you were. Scroll down when you are ready.
October 31, 2026 — one less bar above the profiles (batch v2.15)
At our founder’s request, the bar that recalled how many profiles were displayed for the current mode disappears: the explorer breathes, and the chosen mode speaks for itself. In the General Public view, the 75 accessible profiles are still the ones displayed; the 21 technical profiles are one click away, through the Technician view.
October 31, 2026 — an AI news page, two pills on the home page, and Predis as an affiliate (batch v2.14)
New “What’s New in AI” page: the latest artificial-intelligence news — new models, agents, publisher announcements — selected and summarized in French, each with its date and its source. The page is refreshed every day by the site scan.
Two pills in the home card, at the top right, under the currency selector: “What’s New on the Site” (this page) and “What’s New in AI.” The “What’s New on the Site” link in the footer disappears in the process: a single entrance, at the top of the page.
Predis.ai becomes an affiliate link, like Metricool and Beehiiv before it: the link in its profile (“I can’t afford to pay a graphic designer for my visuals”) is now labeled “affiliate link” — if you subscribe through this link, the Directory may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
October 31, 2026 — filters in three rows, and a “Paid” filter (batch v2.13)
The explorer’s filters get some air: one row per group — “Explore” (the categories), “Plan”, and “Type” — with space between the rows, so you can choose at a glance.
The Plan row becomes a single choice: All / Free / Free trial / Paid. The “Paid” button is new: it shows only profiles with neither a free plan nor a trial. “Free” and “Free trial” keep exactly the same meaning as before.
Nothing else changes: the three rows combine with each other and with search, and still respect the current General Public / Technician mode.
October 31, 2026 — the currency moves up into the home card (batch v2.12)
The currency selector leaves the filter row and settles at the top right of the home card, visible as soon as you arrive. The conversions do not change: profile prices are still displayed in the currency you chose, remembered on your device.
October 31, 2026 — a lighter top bar, and this page renamed (batch v2.11)
The home page’s top bar is emptied: the links and button that duplicated other elements disappear. The quiz still opens from the home page’s “Find your agent” button, and the General Public / Technician mode is chosen on the two cards just below — the choice stays remembered on your device.
The currency selector moves down into the explorer, near the filters, where the profile prices are displayed.
This page is now called “What’s New on the Site”; you can find it from the home page footer. Its address does not change.
October 31, 2026 — a more compact home page (batch v2.10)
The top of the home page is condensed: a title tightened to two lines, a presentation shortened to a single paragraph, more compact “I’m not a technician” / “I am a technician” cards, and a smaller “96 agents” badge. Result: the explorer and the first profiles are visible as soon as you arrive, without scrolling. The “Current mode” line disappears in the process — the chosen mode stays visible on the active card and in the header. Nothing else changes: same profiles, same modes, same addresses.
October 31, 2026 — the home title becomes the question again (batch v2.9)
At our founder’s request, the home page opens again on the question that sums up the Directory: “What problem do you want to hand to an agent?” The two views — “I’m not a technician” and “I am a technician” — stay just below; one click is enough to switch.
October 31, 2026 — Technician mode becomes a directory in its own right (batch v2.8)
Exclusive Technician mode: the explorer and quiz there now show only the 21 technical profiles — the complex AIs — sorted into technical categories: Code agents; App creation & deployment; Automation & orchestration; Infrastructure & models; Data & voice.
The “Level” filter disappears (Easy / Medium / Advanced): the General Public / Technician split replaces it.
General Public mode unchanged: 75 profiles, and the “See also the 21 technical profiles” button to expand on request. No profile changes address and no reading is blocked.
October 31, 2026 — two ways to visit the Directory: General Public or Technician (batch v2.7)
A welcome home page: right from the home page, choose your view — “I’m not a technician” or “I am a technician.” The chosen mode is remembered on your device and can be changed at any time in the header (“General Public | Technician”).
General Public mode (default): the explorer and quiz focus on the 75 profiles accessible without a technical background; the 21 technical profiles remain readable and can be displayed on request (“See also the 21 technical profiles”).
Technician mode: the whole catalog, with technical profiles marked by a “Technical” badge. No profile changes address and no reading is blocked: only the discovery scope changes.
October 31, 2026 — a tightened definition: “multi-purpose” = the true generalists (batch v2.6)
A clarification from our founder: a multi-purpose agent is a generalist AI, with no specific purpose at the outset — you can ask it almost anything. Only 6 remain: ChatGPT (agent mode), Claude Cowork, Manus, Mistral Vibe, OpenClaw, and Comet. Everything else is specialized — including AiSDR (prospecting), Lindy (office tasks), n8n and Bardeen (automation), CrewAI, LangGraph, and AutoGen (agent building), MCP, Ollama, LiteLLM (infrastructure), and Dust (enterprise agents). New split: 90 specialized profiles, 6 multi-purpose.
October 31, 2026 — adjustment: business suites move to “specialized” (batch v2.5)
At our founder’s request, the definition is clarified: multi-purpose now designates assistants and platforms capable of working in several domains (ChatGPT agent mode, Manus, n8n…). Complete suites for a single trade — Pennylane (accounting), HubSpot (CRM), Metricool (social media), Beehiiv, Jasper, Podcastle, Apollo, Gong, Eightfold, Leena AI, Culture Amp, and Birdeye — are therefore labeled specialized, because they stay focused on a single domain. New split: 79 specialized profiles, 17 multi-purpose.
October 31, 2026 — specialized or multi-purpose, and 6 comparisons by function (batch v2.4)
A new axis across the whole site: every profile is now labeled specialized agent (67 profiles — one precise job, done very well) or multi-purpose agent (29 profiles — an assistant capable of chaining several tasks). The explorer’s “Type” filter, the badge on each card, and the “Type” line at the top of each profile help you choose according to how you work.
The quiz separates better: an additional question asks whether you are looking for a tool for ONE precise task or a multi-task assistant, and the recommendations take it into account.
October 31, 2026 — 3 new profiles, the guides by profile, and our method (batch v2.3)
96 profiles in total: Comet, Perplexity’s agentic browser; Granola, meeting notes without a bot in the call; Wispr Flow, dictation that writes in all your apps.
Prices rechecked on NotebookLM, Reclaim.ai, Perplexity, Cal.com, and ElevenLabs — badges dated October 31, and a clarification on the Google AI plans in the NotebookLM profile.
New: the guides by profile — freelancers, video content creators, online merchants, and students: four agents chained in the right order, with a realistic budget.
Our method, in plain terms: the Our Method page explains how the profiles are checked — and how our affiliate links work.
October 30, 2026 — the “X or Y?” comparisons (batch v2.2)
A frequently asked questions section on every profile: cost, free plan, difficulty, and guardrails, answered profile by profile.
10 embedded video tutorials (“See the agent in action”) on the Lindy, Leexi, NotebookLM, Cursor, Lovable, Opus Clip, HeyGen, n8n, ChatGPT agent mode, and Claude Cowork profiles — loading on click only, with no tracker before playback.
Prices rechecked: Lindy’s entry price is corrected ($50 in free credits, then $49.99/user/month); prices confirmed and badged for Opus Clip, Pennylane, and Castmagic.
Update date displayed at the bottom of every profile, and this What’s New page.
October 29, 2026 — 21 new profiles and the guides (v2)
21 new profiles, including a new “Advanced Agents” category (LLM Council, CrewAI, LangGraph, MCP, local agents…).
5 “Understanding agents” guides: definition, how they work, real costs (with a calculator), risks and guardrails, glossary.
A “Price verified on” badge on the new profiles, an “Advanced” filter, and a new profile in the quiz.
October 26, 2026 — first affiliate links, in full transparency
Affiliate links labeled as such on the Metricool and Beehiiv profiles, with a legal notice in the footer.
Cookie-free audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
October 17, 2026 — the site is online
Launch of lerepertoiredagents.com and a currency selector (8 French-speaking currencies, amounts converted for guidance only).
